Why We Created This Podcast

In 2024, I worked with many scientists, engineers, and tech professionals who were reflecting on what’s next—moving into leadership, starting a coaching business, or stepping into entrepreneurship.

I was wondering , it would be great to have a space dedicated to conversations about work, life and growth for STEM professionals.

Luckily my two dear friends Anisa and Pragati who shared the same background, vision and dedication to this idea.

As engineers ourselves, we (Sara, Anisa, and Pragati) know that STEM professionals often feel stuck between logic and purpose—wondering how to transition while maintaining financial stability, credibility, and career security.

We created The Heart of the Equation to be a safe space for these conversations—to discuss career pivots, leadership, and personal growth in a way that feels structured, data-driven, and authentic.
